Default First 7 days down in P2! Want to add cardio?
Ok everyone. 7 days down on my first checkup on HCG and im down 8 Pounds which is above average on track for thier program this week. im want to mix some real world cardio into my program! Also got a B12 & B6 shot in the arse that kinda stung but all is well and am feeling great! Whats the best thing to do to try and tone up and work the heart while doing P2?

Congrats on your loss Barry!

I'm a few weeks ahead of you, and came out of the gates working out but I did not see any radical difference in my loss working out compared to not. If anything I gained, suggestive of retaining more water. Considering that the depth of my energy is an issue, I decided to just chill during the diet and pick it up in P3.

Your mileage might vary though.

I have worked out the entire phase 2 (now in 4th week). My workouts have consisted of : Pilates (like Calisthenics)- no more than 40 mins at a time; walking (30 mins); mixture of cardio and calisthnics (lots of squats, lunges, pushups, situps, etc...). MIne was advised by my doctor, basically if you have the energy and motivation to exercise you should because you have a far better chance of losing the right kind of weight (maintaining muscle, and losing only fat). Also advised not to do any heavy cardio...running, etc would not be recommended, you are better off lifting weights, or doing some other type resistance training, or just walking of course.

Dr. Simeons took people off this program if they had lost 34.0 pounds, only allowing those that were "grotesquely obese" (who know what BMI that would be considering the era he ran the program) to lose up to 6.0 more pounds.

Testosterone-based lifeforms generally stick to a fairly consistent average which will likely have you near that maximum without doing much.

Today is day 30 for me and I have lost 40.4 pounds and am considering calling the program short if my I lose too much.

This is without exercise and absolutely no cheating.
