Default I have done something wrong.
Received my hcg today. I start the process of mixing but couldn't get the bact water to come up to 10 on the syringe. Everytime I attempted to redo it, no solution came out. Obviously, I have done something wrong. It is a good thing that I have additional mixing supplies on the way or I would be more upset than I am. The thing is, I had already taken the top off of the hcg powder. It will probably be about 4 days before my new supplies come in so how should I store the hcg until then? Someone please tell me what I did wrong when attempting to draw out the bacteriostatic water?

You mean you exposed the hcg to open air, totally took the top off? You're not supposed to do that. It won't be sterile if you do that. To get the water into the syringe, you first inject the bottle of water with the same amount of air. So you draw up air into the syringe, 10 cc worth, then stick it into the rubber top of the water and push the water into the bottle. THEN you can pull the water out. You put the needle through the rubber top of the hcg vial and put in 1 cc then swirl gently to dissolve. You put the rest of the 10 cc into your sterile vial. Then you put 1 cc of air into the hcg vial so you can pull out the fluid from it and add it to the sterile vial with the other water.

No, I didn't completely remove the sealed top. It is not exposed to open air.

Shew! It doesn't matter that you took off the little plastic tab thing. You just clean the rubber stop top with alcohol.

Hit the wrong button LOL

Also if you can't get the full 10cc out at one time just draw out half at a time. Take out your 5, put them in the hcg and take out the next 5. It doesnt' have to be all in one draw, as long as your total is 10 (or whatever # you need) that is all that matters.
