Default Can I See Some Sample Menus for Phase 3??
I'm starting p3 tomorrow and I'm a bit nervous. Last round I had trouble stabalizing and gave up and gained almost all my weight back. Now I'm down 25 lbs and feel amazing! I refuse to gain this weight back this time. I would love to see some sample menus from everyone! Especially for my first week

I started P3 today also ...

Here is my day so far and what I have planned for the rest (again .. first p3 day so don't know if this is going to work for me or not ... but based on what I've read it should all be "allowed")

breakfast ... 2 whole eggs cooked in conola oil with an ounce of chedder
mid morning ... organic cheese stick
lunch ... chili (4 oz 95% ground beef, organic tomatoes, onion, various spices)
mid day ... 24 almonds
dinner ... poppy seed chicken (5 oz chicken, organic cream of chicken soup, sour cream, poppies), riced cabbage
desert ... heavy cream whipped with blackberries

should be about 1400 or so calories

Looking at it .. it may be a little light on the protein ... so I may up that tomorrow. May be risky adding eggs, cheese, nuts, and dairy all in the same day ... but I've been planning this out for a few weeks now craving all the above so ....... oh well!!

I can't wait to get to this phase! I heard peanut butter causes people problems. My first day will be almond butter on apples, and yes, heavy cream and berries

Tamaders - I'm in the same boat as you. Today is my first P3 and I'm adding pretty much everything too because I'm craving it. If I gain drastically then I'll do a steak day. Here's what I plan on eating today:

Breakfast - 2 eggs with mozzarella cheese and 2 slices no sugar added bacon
Snack - Whey protein shake
Lunch - Pepperoni pizza (crust made with cheese and egg)
Snack - Apple
Dinner - 5 oz meat loaf

I may decide to make some chocolate chip cookies using almond flour and sugar-free chocolate, but we'll see.

Be careful, friends! I'm on my second round of HCG, but on my first round, I did exactly what you're all doing. I got WAY too excited to eat different foods, that I added them all in on the first day. I had eggs, cheese, cottage cheese, nuts and cream. The next morning, my weight sky-rocketed. I thought these were all "safe" foods so I kept eating them hoping for a loss. Nope, just more gains.

The reason you should add foods in slowly is to see if your body reacts well to the foods. Add in eggs your first few days. If you don't see the scale move, then add in cheese for a few days. I wouldn't add nuts in until your second week of P3. Same with the almond flour and the other goodies like cocoa crack or peanut butter cookies.

Most people gain on peanut butter, so I'm not adding this in until my 3rd week of P3.

I don't mean to scare you. I'm just speaking from experience. IF you see a gain tomorrow, do a high-protein day and then start adding things in slowly.

Thanks for the advice ... I know you are right ... but I'm just hoping I'm fine with all of it and then the gamble will be worth it!!

If not .. well a protein day it is.

Boy .. were those almonds good!!

down 1 pound after p3d1 ..... after that menu above (plus I threw in a cocoa crack peanut butter thingy last night on top of the rest of what I listed)

Today's planned menu
Breakfast - omlet with 2 eggs, cheese, veggies, bacon (cooked in vegetable oil)
mid morning - babybel cheese
lunch - beef fagita meat and turnip greens
mid afternoon - 24 almonds
dinner - 6 oz filet and some kind of veggie

Adding nothing new today (excepet bacon) ...... we'll see how it goes

I went through this same gain thing my first two rounds. Was so scared to eat and not eat....Ate eggs, cheese (which i love) etc. But I gained all my weight back TWICE! this third time I am taking it slower. want more control over my choices. I think too much cheese was my problem and nuts too. I still am seeing too many raw nuts seem to aggravate my stabling. So far I am making sure I don't eat after 7pm at night. Drinking all my water. and eating more lean proteins and upping my vegies. Still up and down a little but I think it is starting to balance out. Almost done with my P3 phase and going into P4. I think I will always have to be careful of the heavy "fats" like cream, nuts....I can eat them just not go crazy. I will probably always stay away from bread, pasta etc...I just am too paranoid to eat them. to me it is not worth going through this again! Will probably do one more run down the road but I want to make sure I can maintain this loss. I am with you on this thing! :-)

have to eat your green vegies for fiber....I ate nothing but steak too the first round and got so disappointed and bored. I know how you feel. Too much to think about on top of everything else we have to carry in life!
