Default Tips needed for the purpose of installing some surround sound speakers
I'm sorry if I am in the incorrect thread. I'm seeking some hints and tips on how to install some TV speakers. I am operating my rear loudspeakers cordless using a 5.8 GHz wireless loudspeaker set. The transmitter ordinarily goes into standby mode if there is no music. Unfortunately, my AV receiver will forever transmit a slight hum during times of standby which keeps the transmitter alert. Hence my rear loudspeakers will continue sending out this humming sound anytime I am not viewing television. I've been thinking about putting in some type of switch to detach the audio connection between my surround receiver and the cordless transmitter though this remedy won't seem sophisticated. I would appreciate any suggestions.
