Hi All,
I have been stalking this and other low carb forums for as long as i can remember...I am a long time low carber (10 years) but have the classic yo yo problem. I know low carb is the only way i can lose weight but i always put it back on soon after. Reason is I dont crave crabs i just LOVE certain ones...I adore pasta and would like to eat it at every meal if i could and I simply cant find a good low carb brand...any suggestions on how I can stick to this sort of eating once and for all this time??? |

Yes... find a way to incorporate your favorites into your maintenance plan. Grains are acceptable in Maintenance. Go back and read about OWL, then Pre-Maintenance, then Maintenance. Look for ways you can alter how you've done maintenance in the past. If what you've done in the past didn't work, find a new/different way of doing things.

I miss pasta too, but apparently there is one out there that is supposed to be okay while following Atkins. It is called DREAMFIELDS! Here is some information on this pasta: it:http://www.dreamfieldsfoods.com/
http://www.dreamfieldsfoods.com/08-A...carb-diet.html I haven't tried it, but it sounds like a possibility? Maybe someone here has tried it? ![]() |

I could never miss pasta (I mean, flour and water?) when I went to school it was called School Paste and we used it to stick pictures in books. Reading this thread has made me realise how lucky I am to NOT like pasta?
Anyway, I've got lots of photos of me at 240 pounds to scare me away from carbs for good! ![]() |
