Default Menstruation
I know that they say to wait until after your period to start the hhcg but I could not remember the last time I had it and I needed to start so I could be on the next phase by the end of October.

Anyway, I am feeling symptoms of my period, which could mean that it arrives this week or it might take 2 more weeks. I am on day 5 (counting loading as days 1 and 2) What happens if I continue the drops when I get it?

I also know that diet changes as well as intense workout will cause me to skip a period. I am tempted to go to the gym and workout really hard to make me not get my period. This might be a worse option though on 500 cal.

Just ride it out. No sense in messing with mother nature. I have started rounds before, during & after my TOM arrival & they all played out the same. Good Luck to ya!!

When to start hCG is just a suggestion.

The only thing that will happen is that the scale stops moving. Prior to your cycle, you gain water weight. You'll loose the water weight a few days after you start, so there's no worries there, it happens every month whether you realize it or not.

The problem with this water gain is the emotional/psychological impact of seeing the numbers go up on the scale when you are only eating 500 calories. Don't underestimate the tricks your mind can play on you - ride it out, and you'll still see the actual losses after the water is released.
