So far I'm very pleased with my hcg (real hucog not homeopathic) sublingual. I've dropped about 13.5 pounds in 16 days, breaking through a previous plateau point by 4 pounds! Very pleased
![]() I'm not doing this by the book though. I eat between 600-900 calories a day, adding protein not fats. I also take 1 unit of the sublingual in the mornings and don't dose a 2nd time, just once a day. (was an experiment because I kept forgetting the evening dose). All in all, this seems a very forgiving plan. My question: I've been reading some blogs and a few people recommend going off dosing for 3-4 days during your period to allow the hcg to get out of your system, and not taking a 3-6 week break until you get within 10 pounds of goal. Has anyone tried this method? I have about 45 more pounds to lose, and I'd be willing to try not taking a break, for "scientific" purposes, but not if it's going to stop my ability to lose on hcg, since this is working so well. |

I am going to follow your thread. Please let me know how you do. I have started the HCG program 8 days ago. I have 50 lbs to lose. I do have a daughter who would like to start the HCG program and asked me about continuing during her period. I see that people can either stop the drops or continue. Again, let me/us know how you are doing.

I'm new too, using rx hcg sl drops .5 am and .5 pm- 12 hours apart, only on day 8, so I don't know how much help I can be.... but I started my TOM today. I
am using my hcg right through TOM. So far I feel no difference, no extra cramps, nothing like that. and the best thing... I still droped 1.2 lb this morning. |

My main concern is the belief that you can get immune to the RX hcg if you don't take a fairly long break. That's why I'm thinking (hoping) that taking 3-4 days off during my cycle will prevent that. I've been reading everything and I don't see any conclusive evidence that you do become immune, but since it is working so well now, I'd hate to mess that up and have to take like 2 months off to reset and start again. IF that happens, I hope to maintain on a basic low-carb and low-cal plan until I can start up again.
