If anyone is just starting the HCG, please join us here. We can help each other.Tell us what day you are on and how it's going.
I am on my 3rd day, which is the first VLCD. Doing good so far. No headaches, a little hungry at times, but drink water or tea. Looking at the clock now for dinner time. LOL I gained 3 pounds in loading so I guess I have been a success so far. Don't want to be too anxious for the weigh in tomorrow, but excited to see what this diet really does. |

I am on day 1 of VLCD too! I had a problem loading though. I was stuck working and could not load as much as I should have. That is a problem because now I am a little hungry but not too bad. The first 2 days I gave the injections I got hyper and shakey. I am glad I do them in the morning. They definately give me energy. Is anyone else feeling this effect?

I am on first load day of round 3 but happy to join you ladies on this round if you dont mind! I baked two pies today--a chocolate cream pie and apple--picked the apples from my tree in the front yard--fabulous --but I feel fat and full and know this is part of the gig--will be missing the pie when I get to vlcd. Good luck to all of you!! This diet is awesome!

Hi everyone. Tomorrow will be my first vlcd. I am looking forward to be part of this group. I can't wait to lose lots of weght, get back in my skinnier jeans and most of all getting back some self esteem. I look forward to getting out of shower and facing the mirror. A little scared about tomorrow, but I know I can do it, I know we can all do it.

Have no fear--this is awesome and the fun is about to begin---loading followed by losing--watching the numbers drop on the scale like never before! I am totally excited. If you are used to exercising a lot then you could probably continue but the 500 calorie diet just doesnt support a lot of vigorous exercise. I only lost 20 lbs with diet and daily exercise in 3 months. Then I started hcg in April and lost 40 lbs in 48 days with no exercise. Then another 24 in 30 days again with no exercise other than what I get at work. I am looking forward to losing the next 25 to 30 lbs. So you can do some exercise but just see how you feel because you will get tired more quickly and doing too much strenuous exercise can actually be counterproductive to the protocol.

thanks for your reply. it is funny...after years of trying to lose weight.. and eating healthier.. I cannot find anything fattening to gorge on
![]() I am getting ready to go out to eat since I don't really have anything too unhealthy here at home to eat. I never thought it would be hard to Pig out before starting the low cal days. but,, after reading all the information.. I understand how important it is to do this. I look forward to losing the weight like you have. |

If any of you guys are interested I have a blog tracking my stats, food, emotions, products etc. It is: myhcgstory.blogspot.com. I already had to deal with TOM, which is always fun

You all are an inspiration! I was wondering where everyone is from? I noticed some of us are on different time zones. If you don't want to it's fine. I'm from Colorado....a tiny town of 1000 in the SW part of the state. We own the only grocery store in town (thank god) and we are raising our 13 yr old granddaughter (thank god for her too)

This morning I was down 3.2 #. can you believe it? neither can i ... i certainly have a LONG way to go, but I am happy to find something that will (hopefully) work! I'm using the homeopathic drops ... figured I would give them a try first. I too live in a very small town, but in the middle of the desert in Arizona. Good luck to everyone! Jodi |

Welcome all who joined the First Round thread - I am glad to have others at the same stage I can to connect to.
Today I was down 5.4 lbs after my first VLD. OMG, I woke my husband from screeching! It sure gives one a boost for a new day that's for sure. I am trying to look at this ONE day at a time, not the 39 still ahead. I am doing injections through my doctor. I had a big challenge last night in trying to explain to my 29 year old daughter what I am doing. Since she has never heard of HCG and has no knowledge of it - she totally freaked when I told her what I was eating. Now she thinks I will pass out in a few days from so little food. I have told her to read P & I to understand it. But, what this has done for me, is to see that when you tell someone you are giving yourself injections for weight loss it is too much for them to absorb. Now I am looking at what I even say at work. I am definetely, not talking about 500 calories and injections. Maybe over time I will change my mind, but until then I am just saying I am under a dotor cares if someone asks. this |

OMG...........Congrats Glor! Now I can't wait until tomorrow. Your daughter will understand, especially if she reads P&I. Ane remember as so many have said to me, you are doing this for you. When your daughter sees the results, she will be so proud of your decision. Keep fighting the good fight. I am so proud of you. As far as work is concerned, I think you are right. You are just on a "really great diet". Have a wonderful day, and revel in your success.
