I purchased a 40 day supply of HCG shots from a clinic pre-mixed. I'm following this diet to an absolute Tee! I eat all the correct portions of fruits, vegies, and protiens that im supposed to and drinking upwards of 2 liters of water a day and nothing else. I have not eaten the melba toast because the lady who actually sold me the shots and gave the class didn't recommend them, however when i ask for help she gives me minimal answers and is not very good support and as you all know this diet is extremely hard and you have to have support, which is why im here. My first week was amazing with a weight loss of 12 lbs! I was very excited and feeling great! However i'm now on week 3 and have only lost 1 more lb in the last two weeks. I'm not doing anything different from the first week and i'm just getting really frustrated. I do the apple days and that helps but the next day i gain, then the next i loose .2 of a lb, then gain again. I have no idea what to do and i need some serious help. because like i said i'm not getting any from anyone else. when i first started i weighed 180 lbs and would like to get down to 120. So im nowhere near my goal weight. If anyone has any advice please please help, it would be very much appreciated! I'm also a 19 year old female if that helps.

no- if anything, some people cut out beef. some clinics only advise eating it twice a week, due to the high fat content. i think the only time it helps people is if their calorie count is too low.
i'm leaning more and more toward advising people to eat the full 500 calories- i think that might be the cause of hunger, for some. depending on what type of foods you're eating, that would mean eating more than 3.5 oz of meat. |

I did count my calories one day and i was only getting 350 the first week with the plan the lady gave me, so ive tried to get closer to the 500. And no im not hungry at all thats how i know the shots are still working. The only time i am a little hungry is 4.5 to 5 hours after taking the shot before i can eat my first fruit, but i just drink water and that helps.

you might be in a stall. I also get my shots pre-mixed from a us based pharmacy. Some people stall in the 2nd or third week. I did in the second week. Take pictures, measurements, those will also tell the story. I found that eating beef, tilapia and lettuce, spinach, apples made me lose more. shrimp stalls me and sometimes oranges. Vary things. I ate melba and lost. Somedays I skipped it somedays I ate it and lost. when I eat less than 450-500 I gain. So watch your intake. I also drank protein shakes which helped my losses and filled me up at dinner. I plan to do this again. Increase your protein might help.drink lots of water. light walking. try different things to see what works.
