Okay, so my husband told me something that made my brain,( normally coasting blissfully in neutral,) slip into gear and caused a reaction if the form of a question.
![]() My husband asked his friend if he had ever heard of hCG. It turns out that this chap is ON hCG, but not for what we use it for (according to him.) He said that he was getting “man boobs” (his words, not mine,) and so has been getting hCG injections in small amounts on both sides. Anyone else heard of this? According to this fellow, it has been totally effective. I think he eats normal… or at least normal for him… He lives solely on whey protein shakes, and Gynormous piles of supplements from GNC several times a day… literally. Anyhow this got me thinking. I don’t know if his condition is a hormonal/glandular situation or if it is strictly a fatty deposit situation but… If it is strictly a fatty deposit situation, I wonder if the site of our injections has anything to do with where the fat is most mobilized. If so, this would be an enormous help for those with problem areas. For most this is probably still the stomach area, but like for my husband it would be his “love handles,” and others… “saddle bags.” In Pounds and Inches I read that the fat that is mobilized is abnormal and previously inaccessible. This sounds like a problem area to me! Is this an established technique for people using hCG for weight loss/metabolism purposes? OR Is there anyone out there experimenting with their injection site for this purpose? If so, is it working? ** I should also note that I read in Pounds and Inches: "These are the so-called “fat boys” with long, slender hands, breasts any flat-chested maiden would be proud to posses, large hips, buttocks and thighs with striation, knockknees and underdeveloped genitals, often with undescended testicles." These fellows were injected with hGC as well and it seems that this is exactly what is going on with my husband's friend, but I was under the impression that these "fat boys" were cured with the protocol as a whole not localized injections. Right? |

Ok, I'll admit that I brought this up a couple of years ago on here and everyone snickered....but I kept at it. I noticed that injecting my thighs helped them slim out....so I guess my answer is yes...it seems to help me at least to inject where my remaining fat is. I haven't heard about doing it for gynocomastia in men however....but I know body builders do it to prevent some of the nastier side effects of steroid use...ie testicular shrinkage....my guess is the gynocomastia might go hand in hand with that. Is he taking steroids by chance?

bumping cause its interesting ![]() I noticed that injecting my thighs helped them slim out....so I guess my answer is yes...it seems to help me at least to inject where my remaining fat is. So it DOES work! Good to know. I'll likely start in my tummy, but as I lose there is the slightest possability... I mean, it may not be inconceivable that a problem area may reveal itself. ![]() Also, my friend says he says he is taking Testosterone... but I wouldn't put it past him to be on some other Laboratory-hormonal-substitutions for diet and aerobic exercise as well. He even mentioned that the Testosterone had that effect down there and this did counter it. Thanks for clarifying. **Edited to include*** I have to say Andrea... thanks for the laugh, I really needed that today. (hCG still in customs ![]() |

nania, when that happens to me...i move further away from my belly button with the injections, then the belly starts losing again. I tend more toward pear shape than apple, so my legs and butt are my preferential weight gain spots. |
