Many of us don't know that we can get our daily dose of exercise while shopping. There are many opportunities like parking your car away from the mall entrance and walking your way inside the mall to shop. Look around first instead of buying what you want. You wouldn't notice but you are already exercising. I do this all the time if I don't have anymore time to get my daily dose of exercise. Sometimes I walk around for an hour and not notice that I have spent a lot of time and already burning about 166 calories. The fun of shopping will take your mind away from getting tired of walking. If you get hungry, instead of enjoying calorie rich foods like burgers, fries and soft drinks, go for subway sandwiches or salad and drink water. You will save yourself about 300 calories by doing this. Instead of using escalators and elevators, use the stairs. Just imagine how much calories you will be burning while you are shopping? If you climb the stairs for 30mins, you will likely burn about 246 calories. There are always opportunity to exercise and give our body a boost. Do not take it for granted because our body needs this not only to burn fats but also for muscle flexibility
