Default Foods Men Should Eat More Of
1. Fatty Fish - Fatty fish like mackerel, salmon, tuna, sardines, rainbow trout, etc. are all high in omega-3 fatty acids which helps reduce blood clotting and lower blood pressure. It also helps reduce risk of stroke and heart disease.

2. Oats - helps reduce risk of stroke, blood clotting and heart disease. Also helps stabilize blood sugar tp reduce risk of type 3 diabetes

3. Tomatoes - contains lycopene which helps reduce risk of prostate cancer in men and helps inhibit spread of existing cancer and decrease malignancy. Also helps prevent pancreatic cancer, which is more common in men than women. Studies also showed lycopene helps boost sperm concentrations in infertile men.

4. Mushrooms - Contains selenium which help treat male infertility and helps protect against Parkinson's disease. Also helps repair damaged DNA, inhibits spread of existing cancer and helps destroy cancer cells.

5. Mollusks - Mollusk contains Vitamin B12, which helps normalize brain and nervous system functions and Zinc, which helps balance blood sugar, helps improve immune function and improves sperm health, including higher sperm counts .

I knew about the benefits of tomatoes, mushrooms and mollusks but I didn't know it also helps male fertility. This information will help all male members and guests who didn't know about these yet. Thanks for sharing.

Another good post viktoria. Thank you for sharing these. Just to add, aside from eating tomatoes, you can get lycopene from tomato based products like tomato paste, sauce and ketchup.

Oh I love tomatoes. I usually just eat them raw. I love ketchup too. I also love mollusks like oysters and clams. Thanks viktoria.

Thanks mikaela, kathy and sasa. Just to add, you could also get lycopene from grapefruit, guava, watermelon, and rosehips but tomato is by far the best source. Fresh tomatoes are an excellent source but cooked tomato products like tomato paste, sauce and ketchup are more concentrated and since it's in cooked form, our body could easy absorb the lycopene chemical.

Now that sasa mentioned it, oysters helps boost mood and sharpen mind and clams was said to help treat hemorroids.
