Default Daily aspirin may cut colon cancer
This is a great news that we all should know. I read this from msnbc today and thought of sharing it with you all because I know you would want to know too! It's a break through and it should help many people who is at risk of colon cancer.

A low dose of aspirin may reduce colon cancer cases by a quarter and deaths by a third, a new study found. But experts say aspirin's side effects of bleeding and stomach problems are too worrying for people who aren't at high risk of the disease to start taking the drug for that reason alone.

The study's conclusion that even low doses of aspirin can reduce colon cancer suggests the drug is inching its way toward being used for cancer prevention, though people should not start taking aspirin daily without consulting their doctor.

"Anyone with any risk factors such as a family history (of colon cancer) or a previous polyp should definitely take aspirin," said Peter Rothwell, a professor at the University of Oxford and one of the paper's authors. The finding also "tips the balance" for anyone considering aspirin to prevent heart attacks and strokes, he said.

I love this post! I have always heard that aspirin is good for the health but I was a little worried about the bleeding and stomach problems side effects. I guess the baby aspirin is the answer to this

This is a great and very interesting post. I have read from an article before that taking aspirin daily is good for the heart but I also heard that it can cause bleeding so I didn't consider it. Now that baby aspirin is just as good, I will have to try this slowly not only to help me with headaches but also help me prevent heart attack and cancer. Thanks for sharing mikaela! I just love this

You are totally right wildman. I actually was taking aspirin before but I stopped it as it was causing me acid reflux and my doctor said that the longer I use it the more it will damage my stomach. Baby aspirin will do I and what's good is that it's easy on the stomach so I don't need to worry about side effects anymore. I'm glad you like it sasa

This is a great article and study to help people prevent colon cancer. Although this is a good way to prevent it, we also have to be more responsible with our diet by avoiding too much cholesterol, alcohol, preservatives, and processed foods. Eating fiber rich foods and drinking plenty of water can help a lot in cleansing toxins off the body. Out diet and lifestyle plays a lot of role in our health so we always have to be responsible.

You are absolutely right viktoria! Our lifestyle does play a big role in our health and illness. If we want to be healthy we have to work on it. Lack of exercise and poor diet can cause obesity which can later on lead to colon cancer.

Detoxification is also another good way of cleansing the body and help remove the toxins that causes illnesses.
