Default Lookign for pumpkin recipe
I had a wonderful recipe for a pumpkin dessert/pie (I actually ate it for breakfast) that I found on boards years ago that I lost and was wondering if anyone had something similar they could share.

The one I had used:
-1 can pumpkin
-sf syrup
-heavy cream
-pumpkin pie seasoning
-egg(s) i believe
-a thing or two that i might be forgetting!

It was very simple and so good, but it's been so long since I made it, I don't remember all the ingredients or how much of each.

I also posted this on recipe board - but that seemed a little slow, so thought I would try over here too.

I just posted an answer on the recipe forum... double posting doesn't usually get you faster answers. If there's someone around, they'll see your question no matter where you put it. LOL

You can check the bottom of the index page to see if anyone (beside yourself) is logged into the site. If no one is, you won't get an answer until someone comes along. Just keep checking. Things ebb and flow here... some days it's hopping and some days there are virtually NO posts at all!

Hope you stick around...

Here is what I was referring to...

Our users have posted a total of 132267 articles
We have 3569 active users

The newest active user is StacyH

In total there are 6 users online :: 0 Registered, 1 Hidden and 5 Guests [ Administrator ] [ Moderator ]

Most users ever online was 509 on Mon Dec 13, 2004 3:29 pm

Registered Users: None

This tells me that right now, you're the newest member. It also tells me that I'm the only member logged in (I'm the "hidden" one)... but there are 5 guests reading messsages. There are no un-hidden registered members logged in... so I know I won't get a response right away to anything I post.

Sometimes this helps with the patience factor.

Thanks for the response and yes I am new! New again anyway. I had great success with Atkins years ago - got comfotable and happy with my weight, and carbs (way too many) crept back into my life. So here I am starting over again.

Over Christmas, I made a "crustless Pumpkin Pie" from an Internet recipe. I will go over to the recipes and see if I posted it. If not, I will.

It was really tasty and I did NOT miss the crust, however, flax and almond flour pre-baked crusts do abound on the Internet. Since I am on pre-maintenance, not sure if it was Induction friendly...I will check that out too!
