Default Second time around and will stick to it.
Hi all
I went to the doctor on Oct 28 weight in at 230lb 4lb more since the last visit and my blood presure was high. He said I must go down to 180. I was on the atkins diet a few years ago and lost 40 lb in 6 months and was able to keep off give or take 5lb. Long story short I am back at it again to lose the remain weight. Well I just wanted to say thanks to everyone on this forum with all their advice to each other it helped me before and I know it will help me this time around.

Welcome back! If it worked for you once then it will work again so hang in there! You will get to 180 before you know it!

Welcome back. Several years ago a health challenge brought me back to Atkins and have been very relieved to have lost weight and for my #s to go down. This time around I am thinking of it more as a health management way of eating rather than a diet. Low carb eating is necessary to manage insulin resistance and IBS struggles.

A huge "Welcome Back to Atkins!"

Please post a thread on the Progress Board! I know you will do fantastic! With just a few pounds left to goal, I need to stay motivated as (you know) the last few pounds are S-L-O-W to come off! Seeing others' success helps me stay on plan. So while you are helping yourself, you are helping ME. Thanks!

WAY TO GO!

Thanks for posting! 7 pounds is a GREAT start! Do you realize you ALREADY have lost 14% of the 50 pounds you have to lose? THAT should motivate you!

Any concerns, issues, problems, ideas, questions??? We are here for you! Just post. Posting is what keeps the site alive, and all of us energized like YOU obviously are. Me, I have the "blahs" with just 7-8 pounds to go...so I love reading about folks who are having such good success! YOU CAN DO IT!
