Do you have cravings? Or, do you feel like you can walk back into OWL and not have any issues? If you're hankering for more sugar/junk, I'd suggest as many days of Induction as it takes to get rid of the cravings/wants. That may be one day, two days or 14 days... depends on your body and how badly you ate last week. Don't do it for the weight loss, do it for the control. If you feel in control... pick up where you left off. How many carbs were you eating before last week? Start there or go 5-10g less per day for a couple of days. It completely up to you and should be based on your particular needs and situation.

i started on ph 2 again this morning. The whole day went well. Then there was some haagan daz in the freezer and i just had that ! ( it was gud though..cookies n cream). I think ill do induction from tmrw.
I dont think i went off that badly last week, i had things that were not allowed in ph 2 bt that r allowed in ph 3 n 4 like potatoes, brown bread, mango, rice. But also had some icecream n crisps.

Just remember, by the time you're eating those foods you'll have had to reduce the fat you're eating, too. If you just ADD those foods, without compensating for them, then that's NOT P3 or P4. As you add carbs you have to reduce the fat and even protein if your servings are large now.

I think it's smart to go back to Induction if you can't stay out of the ice cream. Again... eating like you're in Induction it's very dangerous (wt wise) to add non Induction foods like ice cream.

Fat + protein = wt loss
Fat/protein + sugar/starch carbs = wt gain (FAST omg my clothes don't fit wt gain)

I know your post was a week back, but am interested in how you worked things out.

I can only encourage you NOT to cheat ... you work too darned hard to lose each pound to let that brief moment for satisfaction spoil a day or week of hard work.

One has to think of this as a lifestyle, not a weight-loss program per se. We can't miraculously go back to what we loved before ... we have to make what we eat NOW, what we LOVE to eat in the future!

If you are committed, if you lapse, just get right back into Induction until you have gotten back to where you were, plus a pound, and then look again at the program and read the sections of the book applying to you.

Good luck!!

I tried to start from phase 2 again but i was having cravings due to which i began too many nuts. So i took Tril's advice and went to induction until my cravings went away, that was for 3 days . Now i am on phase 2. Will not cheat again , my weight went up 1.5 kg in that one week i left atkins!

Here's wishing you the best...

It is one day to the next, but I am enjoying all the wonderful things I CAN eat I truly don't miss what I cannot. I hope you can find that pleasure too.
