alright I'm back for the February challenge. I skipped the January one but I feel like this is the perfect motivation push.

Starting wt (Feb. 2nd): 136.0
Feb. Goal wt (Feb. 28th): 132.0

My December goal was a bit farfetched and it was a disappointment to not reach it in time. So, 4 lbs is a good goal for me for now!

For the exercise part, this won't be a problem for me. I am vowing to go to the gym atleast 5 times a week.

For the month

Elliptical: 0/600 mins
Stationary Bike: 0/400 mins

my "cart around the grocery store" was more of a complaint than a question about whether it was exercise

man, i hate the carts in this country - they all seem to veer off in a direction other than "forward" - very tough on the back i must say!!!!!

maybethey're the same in canada; i was only buying for myself then, not a family of four!!

ps - thinking i should have a slightly more "lofty" goal for weightloss this month. this is my first challenge (new here) - so i'm changing it (is that okay tril?) - to 187, instead of 189

and...missed bodyattack this am - my friend flaked out on me, and seeing as i'm still sore after bodypump on saturday, i didn't want to try this class for the first time by myself. will do 6am tomorrow and thursday though. (it's tuesday in australia)

exercise today: 30 minutes interval speeds on elliptical thingy
some time on the adductor and abductor machines (which i have nicknamed, and will in future refer to as "Bob and Doug")

my weight? not sure, as my scale is crap. may wait another week to check. OR - may weigh myself tomorrow on the gym's scale (ugh)

exercise yesterday:
35 minutes on the elliptical, incline 20 and resistance 12. Wow what a leg work-out.
20 minutes on the bike.
Assorted strength training.

elliptical: 35/600 minutes
bike: 20/400 minutes

wow, well done for the legs!!!!!

i plan to suffer tomorrow at Pump

oh, and i did around 300 minutes semi-quick walking with kids to school (they spent some time running; it's 32 degrees C here, so i walked fast...no running

right,. well i meant 30 minutes, not 300...although the count is up to 60 now ...don't worry people, i won't be posting throughtout the day (every little update) from now on - just a daily tally...

Still trying to get back to my low from two weeks ago after an out of town trip that included things like Pizza, Pasta, Burgers(yes I had fries with that, but I didn't finish them, do they still count?), Cookies...need I go on?

But getting back on track. This weeks weigh in:

As for exercise, this week I can only claim 30 minutes of ice skating on 1 day.

I like the exercise log part of this challenge!


Today 2/4: 60 min. kickboxing class w/ abs, 20 -30 min walk with dogs.

today's exercise:

-6am bodypump class (i hate lunges!...but i love squats

proud moment: my friend flaked on me, but i went alone (often if she or i can't go in the early-am, the other goes straight back to bed - but i went to class!!!!!!

-pumping my foot up and down on the gas pedal.......

Tracy... that's GREAT that you went without your friend!!! I didn't say anything when you stayed home the other day, but I thought about it. GOOD JOB! You should be very proud of yourself.
