Hi all
been eating Atkins for a week now and wanted to track my progress - not that i have much of it just yet! Last March 10th i weighed in at 288 lbs and lost 5 stone (70 lbs) up till September on low Fat eating and exercise. Since then i have swithered arounf the same stone - going between 4 and 5 stone in total lost but not been able to shift it. Hopefully this forum will help keep me on track and let me see how far ive come - its easy to lose sight of the big picture and i feel just as big as i was last year despite being down more than 3 Uk Dress sizes (24/26 to an 18) Been plagued with chronic constipation since Thurs even though i ate bout my weight in Psylium husks over the weeknd! upped the veggies a bit and hopefully this will loosen things off!! Welcome any comments advice!! Bingowings |

hey Bingo (BINGO!)
sorry - had to ! re the constipation - keep having the psyllium, and try: cup of hot water (sounds silly; may just work!) exercise - this gets your peristalsis going - or helps at least ![]() take a walk, sipping a hot h2O ![]() hth....anyway, welcome! yeah, hey - isn't it nice to eat fat again! if you've read The Book (DANDR) you know it's not way to lose weight effectively, efficiently, and without losing muscle tissue. so, congrats on starting a really good, healthy way of life! don't get down, just keep on going, following the rules of induction and you should do alright. this site is great for recipes, advice, and all sorts of info. hey - why not join the march-madness challenge? keep us posted on your progress, and if you haven't got The Book, get it! ![]() tracy |
