Default just starting in need of guidance.
Hi all.I live in Scotland which has the worst diet in Europe and I am proof of that.Last year my big brother sadly passed away suddenly from a heart attack. He was an active man of 40 years but overweight and smoked a bit. I stopped smoking straight after he died but started to pile on the weight and put on around 15 kgs on top of being overweight already and have ballooned up to around 130kgs.Now I want to lose it as I have 2 young boys and would like to be more active in their lives like taking them swimming without fear of being harpooned.

I am new to this site and I am hoping to lose around 30kgs. I have gone 2 days on low carb but I feel I might be overdoing it.At lunch time I had a burger with a little melted cheddar cheese on top.Tonight for my tea I had 2 pork chops,4 mushrooms, half cup of cauliflower, half cup of turnip,5 florets of broccoli and a spoonfull of mayonaise.I missed breakfast but that was due to me running late and will not do the same again.Would anyone say that I should eat a little less veg or a little more? The 1st night my boss who had been on the same sort of diet said that bacon, eggs, sausages would be good so thats what i had but with no greens. By not having any greens will this screw up my plan or does it work just the same but as long as i am not going over 20gs of carbs? snacks are sugar free jelly with a little cream.
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated and I am sorry for going on at length about this.Thank you
