Default Carb Counting Question
How faithful are you all to counting *all* carbs like the carbs in spices, eggs, herbs, etc.?

In the beginning you should be a fanatic about it. When you only get 20 per day, those little fractions add up FAST. Later on, if you've been nit-picky about it in the beginning, you have a much better handle on where the carbs are in food. Induction is only two weeks.... but they are VERY important weeks since that is when you learn the plan. If you don't learn it all then... you certainly won't learn it 2 months into things. So... if you're just starting out, do yourself a huge favor and learn it all now. Keep track of everything for 14 days. If you want to "loosen" up later, that's better than starting out guestimating and hoping you'll lose weight.

I'm about 6 months into the plan (still on Induction), and I STILL count my carbs. I'm not as strict as I used to be at the beginning, but it took me about 6 weeks to get it right.

That is prudent advice.
