Yes, you CAN skip Induction... and should if you don't have any wt to lose or less than 10 to 20 pounds to lose. Just start at the first level of OWL. That's 25g carb per day... 17 to 20 net grams of that from veggies. Then you can work your way up the carb ladder week by week. So really, skipping Induction isn't a big deal. You're still going to need to know the limits of Induction, since that's basically where you start (with just 5 extra grams from VEGETABLES).
Good luck! |

"However I've been sticking to a very, very low carb diet for two weeks now. Cravings have gone and I'm finding it easier so I've decided to do Induction from Monday."
Hmmm...sounds like Induction to me, unless the carbs you ate were non-veggie carbs. The best way for success, if you have over 15 or so pounds to lose, is do Induction for 2 weeks...even if you have been really low carb [it you have a lot to lose.] BUT [there is always a BUT] IF you have been LOW carb like you said, being on Induction may NOT bring you fast weight loss, as you should have achieved it IF YOUR low carb is like ATKINS low carb. Keep us posted! Toni |
