Default Tril and others.. Help!!!!!
I am so furious and frustrated tonight at this diet. As far as I am concerend and after 3 months of this Atkins diet and reading the book as well I have found over the last month or so that I am not so successful with my weight loss. I keep gaining and losing the same weight now for awhile. Let me add that I did nothing to gain the weight. I did not eat over the 20 carbs a day, I did not eat bad carbs, and I do exercise. I have over 200 pounds to lose and as of now I lost over just 30 something pounds in just over 3 months. I was told by several including my Doc that I could stay on the induction as long as 6 months. But now I am wondering if I should perhaps join weight watchers or another diet that will help me lose the normal 1-2 pounds a week that they say is the average. But I am afraid that I will gain weight if I put bread and things like that back into my mouth. Please do not take this as me saying Atkins if bad, I am not. I have seen several people lose weight on this diet and be successful with it, I am just saying perhaps my body is not taking to it anymore. I guess my question is, do you think I need to go OWL now? Or switch to another healthy way of eating to lose the remaining weight. I am losing some inches but my Doctor cannot see my success with inches as they pay attention to the scale. I need to lose to be able to live a longer life and have the knee surgery I have to have and if they are not seeing the numbers coming off that is just the longer I have to wait for what I desperatly need. Oh I know I am venting but I am scared and need some desperate advice from those who know what is going on and understand my frustration here. I know this is becoming a book so I will slow my email down and end it soon. HELP!!!!!
