I just started the Atkin's diet about 2 weeks ago. I've reduced my carb intake to less than 20g/day. A friend of mine told me that the most dramatic weight loss should be in the beginning stages, but to be honest, I feel like I'm GAINING weight. The only way to determine this is by the fact that my jeans don't fit properly anymore...
Anyways, I'm just feeling a little discouraged. Could it be that I'm bloated? I haven't been very regular since I started, which is due to lack of fibre, I assume. I also have headaches and I find myself to be very lethargic during the day. Is this normal in the beginning? Thanks in advance for any help & encouragement! |
