Default Atkins nutrition bars?
Firstly, I'm sorry if I'm posting too much but I don't know anyone else in my town who is doing/has done Atkins.

Are the nutrition bars on sale here in the UK and if so where? I know I can't have them on induction week, but I'm planning ahead.

Most people will say to not even eat them off of induction, I'm not one of them though.. I will advise to eat them very sparingly. I occasionally grab one if I'm out of the house and starving.

I'm not sure about buying them in the U.K. but you can certainly order them from the Atkins website (www.atkins.com)

Don't worry about posting too much. Post often!! It helps us as much as it helps you!

I'm able to get them in the Supermarket in the healthfood section here in Australia... Have you tried there in the UK?

In the 4 months I've been on Atkins I haven't bought anything with an Atkins' logo. When I go on my trip in December, I will probably bring a box of the bars and carry a couple with me on the plane. I would only use something like that when I absolutely could not get real food. Stuck on an overseas flight, for instance when the only thing for b'fast is a danish and fruit. I figure it's good for emergencies... but processed food is processed food no matter whose name is on the package.

Ooops... sorry, just realized I didn't actually answer the question you asked. YES, you can get the bars in the UK. Here's just one website I found doing a google search for "atkins bars UK".

Many thanks for the link and the messages. I want to put together an emergency pack. For those times when I feel desperate for a bit of chocolate, I don't want to fall off the waggon big time in the first few months.

I bought some on the internet, they're not great. They don't taste like British Isles bars at all. But they do get rid of sweet cravings!

Thanks, Caoimhe, I haven't bothered yet. I am so full on this first week. I've made some cauliflower sticks in case I get a sugar craving but so far so good. Thanks again for the advice
