First of all, try to understand my english, its not my native language
![]() Is it any good to use extra amino acids(beta-alanine to rise carnosine levels, etc) while on Atkin's diet? I'm now on my 2.nd day of induction so all new to this and trying to learn more and more. Currently i'm taking multivitamin tablet once a day, and c-vitamin 250mg twice a day, plus quite powerful b-vitamine tablet. Is it safe to take beta-alanine, I've been using it for few weeks(1-3 grams per day) to raise carnosine levels. Carnosine is as some of you may know, proven quite good antioxidant. Can you describe what vitamins(and aminoacids, antioxidants) and quantitys you take durin inductions or after it? Please if you answer, don't put product names, just the indredients. I live in Finland and pretty sure that products have different names and even quantity laws here, vs for example USA. |

I am a heavy weight lifter/cardio gym goer, I take a Mens One A Day vitamin supplement, and then immediately after working out I take a double scoop shake of this
http://www.bodybuilding.com/store/4ever/isolate.html It helps me recover, but super over loading on amino acids isn't really a big deal, you can find anti oxidants in food as well and they are usually in the veggies, so you will kill two birds with one stone. MOST of the supplement beliefs are just voodoo nutrition. |
