We are going to a cookout at a friend's house this afternoon. They are having hot dogs and brats so my DH and I are going to bring burgers and cheese and I made a pasta salad using Dreamfield's pasta (5 digestable carbs per 1/2 cup dry(1 cup cooked), cucumbers, italian dressing, ham, cheese, etc. I am nervous because I feel like I am going to gain tomorrow even though I am still on track.
![]() We are now on OWL (but treating it like induction with the 20 carbs). It is supposed to be a whopping 100 degrees here today so we are going to go for a short walk (about 15-20 minutes) with the dog and then go to our friend's pool with them this afternoon. |

Good luck at the cookout today! Make the best choices you can and don't give in or give up. Even if the scale is up a little bit tomorrow, you still have the rest of your life to get it back down. Even THIN people gain weight once in a while. We can, too.

you will be all right. when its hot i find that i can't eat that much, either. just get your game plan organised and show up confident that you will stay on track.
May seem silly, but I go to BBQs and parties having eaten at home an hour beforehand. This takes the edge off and I eat less at the BBQ, especially if its food I didnt personally make. People make BBQs special, not the sauce. 8) |

Well I am happy to report that I did wonderful yesterday. I had a cheeseburger (no bun or sauce) and I had some pasta salad (the one I made with the dreamfields low carb pasta). I ended up gaining .2 of a lb but I really wasn't discouraged.
![]() One more obstacle to over come in this WOE!!!! ![]() Thanks for your support! |
