Default Story Cubes - where can I get some?
In the past few days there have been several references to "Story Cubes" being used in readings.

I went on-line and I find a product called "Rory's Story Cubes" which is a set of 9 dice with images on them.

Is this the same as the Story Cubes I've been reading about on SB? I'd love to have some story cubes, but I don't want to buy the wrong product lol.

Thanks!

Hi sophia
Where have you come from? Maybe I had not notice you much on the forum or I have been in a day dream state when you are here! What ever maybe the reason, it is better late than never. Are you bundle of knowledge or what? You have been digging out information that I never knew was available. Thanks for coming back! We need more people like you on this forum.
Can you please explain further about these cubes that I know nothing about? Maybe I first have to learn about symbols and what they mean. These cubes maybe the way to go for me.
God bless

Fascinating. I can certainly see how these cubes could be very useful in divination! I've simply GOT to get a set/make a set.

The ones you made by hand - how did you choose what images to put on those? Just whatever appealed to you, or are the pictures symbolic to you in some way?

i need to work on my meditation before id like to carry on with the rest of the things miss thank you any way. Uhm..... The things done to get those bones are just pure evil. These bones come from babies and animals that were killed just for this purpose. I get a real bad feeling if i see those bones...... Dont like it and never will. Maybe later on i will try the cubes. Thankyou for the thought though

pit bull...you know you could make a set of bones with simply the chicken/turkey bones or any kind of meat bones bones you had for dinner..or several type

or I know of a lady/girl on another forum who uses a mixture of bones sticks and shells....things she identifies with

I know it is harder for men to do several things at once...so when not meditating you can slowly work on a divination method that works for you..
the only way to find it is to experiment with different types

and also remember divining is not everyones path

hahaha a lady on a forum dissed me!! Uhm.... Honestly.... I dont want bones. Ill try sometime by making wooden cubes,or even better, make ones from steel, that i would like. Stainless steel or see if sterling could be made for me,would it stil work the same way? To be honest,i didnt have an interest in these kinda things, even tarrot. Maybe if i play around one day and get to know it it may change my mind

Hi PitBull,
you can use anything you like in divination. The 'tools' used are merely there to focus on. But it's not them which give you the info. The information comes from you by way of intuition. If you try holding something or looking at an item of your choice just write down or say what you sense or see. You may surprise yourself. Divination, if you didn't know, has nothing to do with communicating with spirit people.

skye, comunicating with spirits is more my thing.... Its just that.... You know in movies when a guy/freak want to chat up a hot girl, the thing the girls do with the hand when they say ''talk to the hand, the face is busy''? I think thats what the spirits do to me haha

Crumpled paper is making a big craze with divinators right now.

Bones are used as well. I know someone that reads dice.

What you read isn't important and as Skye said, it's a tool you use to help yourself gain more confidence. Eventually you don't need the tool to read.

I feel the same way, Pitbull.

I don't normally use any divination "tool" other than my mind. Now and then I'll use Tarot, mostly because the person I'm reading EXPECTS the external props lol.

I'd love to learn to use something like story cubes to give more depth to my readings. What I "see" is like a snapshot - it's true, but 2 dimensional. I think using something like the cubes would give it a 3rd dimension, if that makes any sense.

Always looking for more and better ways to explore and learn.

Pit bull)))))))))))))) I can't/have never been able to make the connection to spirit the way you speak of.. so I use tools..

I then discovered I liked them and use many many methods of of them.

I read a post several eyars ago somewhere just dont remember where of a gentleman that did in fact use metal...he actually melted and forged them himself for the sole purpose of divination.. I can not remember now if it wa s he engraved them or made them into shapes before they solidified...

I read strictly by Intuition and clairscentience...and knowledge of what the type of tool I am using mean all intwined...but it is truly nOT ME. It comes from spirit using me as a vessell to do their work for them to impart messages to people and often it may be your guide whispering into my mind and me not realizing it for you to get teh proper message .. they will choose the tool, the ones that appear for you and they will help me to choose which meaning is for the person.

Like tarot or runes etc each one has multiple meanings.. It utilizes intuition and spriitual guidance to choose which of the many meanings is the one the person needs to hear.
