Default Sparkling dots
Hey everyone !

I was just wondering... Since about an year ago I realized that when I looked to the skies I could see just tons and tons of little sparkly dots "dancing around". Millions of them, I couldn't follow neither one of them because they moved so fast. Of course I thought that was strange and really began to wonder why was I seeing those, what they were... A few months after I mentioned it to a really good friend of mine and she told me that she could see them too ! And then I've talked to a few other people about it and while some would look at me with their most epic weirdest face (lol) some of them could also see them, so I understand that is actually very common for people to see them...

I thought they could only be seen when looking to the skies but later on I was able to see them around as long as I was outside. Now I've sometimes been able to see them when I'm inside the house or inside any building really, specially in a sunny day or when is light entering in the room. When it's dark I don't see them but I see what it seems to be colours or just light, but in motion, when I focus on something... I guess it's them.

My friend used to think they are atoms... But then she mentioned it to her father and he said those were normal things to see when we have dirt in our eyes, lol. I really don't buy it, I mean... It doesn't feel like something within the eyes. I wonder what it is... Is it just energy or .. ? I don't know, lol. I have always been curious about this and I thought why not just ask. It's really cool to watch them dancing around, though !

I see them too. I usually see them on the water and in the air. They always seem to be dancing. And sometimes I notice that if they notice I notice them (he he) they become even more active.

I was told that they were fairies. Now that all depends on whether or not you believe in fairies...lol. I happen to be one of those that do.

What they are doing...I have no idea. But I delight in the idea that they are having a really great time...lol

Floaters are deposits of various size, shape, consistency, refractive index, and motility within the eye's vitreous humour, which is normally transparent.

They may be of embryonic origin or acquired due to degenerative changes of the vitreous humour or retina.

The perception of floaters is known as myodesopsia,[ or less commonly as myiodeopsia, myiodesopsia, or myodeopsia. Floaters are visible because of the shadows they cast on the retina or their refraction of the light that passes through them, and can appear alone or together with several others in one's field of vision. They may appear as spots, threads, or fragments of cobwebs, which float slowly before the observer's eyes. Since these objects exist within the eye itself, they are not optical illusions but are entoptic phenomena.

Hi Chica! It happened to me the same way.. I was staring at the sky and suddenly I saw them.. since then it's easy to see them.

I've read it's the first step to clairvoyance. I feel they are atoms or molecules, some people call them "prana" others "ether"... it's just energy.

Those little great things dancing lol must be everywhere, even in our bodies but dancing a lot slower.

There's a book I posted on SB about clairvoyance that says there are 3 steps to clairvoyance:
1st: Opening to the etheric plane
2nd: Opening to the astral plane (seeing the same sparks but this time colored)
and 3rd: Experiencing the astral plane (having a sensation of spaceciousness, similar as when we astral travel)

Newdawn, I'm definatelly into fairies ! Matter fact, I'm fascinated by 2 things and one of them is fairies. I have a fold in my computer full of images of them, LOL ! My avatar here is a fairy I love them ! I'm not sure if those are fairies though, there are so so many and everywhere... Unless fairies are also everywhere, of course, lol. I never saw them in the water, I'll try it

Villani, thanks for that info ! Yes, I thought those were energy aswell... Can you see the coloured ones ?

Laura, I searched for floaters and I'll put here some images of what I got. I definatelly have seen these before but this is not what I'm refering to. I mean dots, little points really that shine and sparkle, no round kind of greyish/transparent stuff going on... Thanks though!

Hi Chicamarilla: Oh, I am relieved. I felt kind of silly posting that I heard it was fairies, but I really did hear that and unfortunately believed it. ha ha.

But, I know what you are saying because they are not spots that I see either. They are bright little lights that flicker and dart across the sky. I don't see them in the water...I see them bouncing off the water, especially the ocean.

LMAO!! Laura thanks for the blog link. I also have two great books in which I am dusting off the cobwebs, A Witches Guide To Faery Folk and Faery Speak.

Mmm very few times... they say angels, spirits guides, fairies, elves, etc sometimes make a few dots or just one become colored to catch our attention

Have you seen colored ones?

Newdawn, who knows if they are fairies or not, there's no way of actually knowing it hehe. I too believe they exist, I'm just not sure if they are these sparks..
True, they have a light of their own... Like fireworks, LOL. It's cool but infortunatelly there's not much information about them out there.
Oh, I never noticed that !! This Summer I would see them everywhere on the beach (because that was a place with lots of light) but never remembered to see them bouncing off the ocean.. Maybe they're just "light beings" haha

Villani, I don't think I have ever seen the coloured ones when I'm actually seeing the sparks. However, when it's kind of dark and I look somewhere and feel their presence there I see kind of the energy in motion (hard to explain) and then I may see some colours.. I'll try to see the coloured ones when I see them dancing, maybe I should train this to open my third eye aswell hehe.

The ones in water are called water sprites....

A water sprite (also called a water fairy or water faery) is a general term for an elemental spirit associated with water, according to alchemist Paracelsus. Water sprites are said to be able to breathe water or air, and in some cases, can fly.
