Default Pledge contributions for David
quote from david:
p.s.: the issue came up in the discussion group about whether i may need financial help. [moderator responds that david does not accept advertisers to help his site make expenses, so even $5 is a welcome gift, at all times of the year. thanks!]

(a contributor)
hello the other day i had brought up a possible way of helping david through a small pledge drive. i thought we could do it "ron paul" style. a grassroots $25 each (or $5 or 10 or whatever you can afford). here is an idea of how the "complex adaptive units" work in reality: $25 x 100 people = $2500, $25 x 200 = $5,000, $25 x 500 =$12,500. not to insult you with elementary math, but that would give david enough to breath easy for a while at least.
______
let us start by responding to this thread for pledges.

thanks and let's go!

[moderator: on the dc site in online store, click on donations-here is the url.... http://www.divinecosmos.com/store/in...id=7&itemid=99 ]

again, donations can be made to david at this link on the dc site:

http://divinecosmos.com/index.php?op...per&itemid=128

you can donate as little as $5, and, with over 1700 members, $5 would equate to alot of rent

i'm sorry you're having trouble with our payment system.

i just tried making a donation using paypal and the donation went through just fine with no problems.

let's see if we can figure out what is going on here...

are you using the following donation link:

http://divinecosmos.com/index.php?option=com_wrapper&itemid=128

this is the one that i tried and it seemed to work fine just for me.

please try it again and if you are still having trouble, post your results here and i'll see if i can find out what is going on.

if david icke can fill up the brixton academy for a six hour lecture then how about something like a david wilcock lecture at some high profile venue like that? even if you set something like that up in england you would double your money with the exchange rate.

i believe in helping people, but maybe david needs to help himself and get a job like everyone else? what is wrong with earning a living like everyone else? ever hear of self esteem and respect? these sound like harsh words, w o r k , but it works for everyone else.

in response to starwhite, "get a job like everyone else."

david has a job like everyone else, it just isn't paying much right now as he gives so much time and information into this site for free, for the benefit of newcomers and people that may not be able to afford to donate even $5.

if you can't afford to donate but enjoy the info on this site, maybe you should just enjoy in silence!

i feel that david is offering so much for so little that anything that i can donate would not be enough.

i am sure that after the production and release of wanderer awakening and convergence that he will no longer be in the position of needing donations.

i so look foward to his posts that i am a bit offended by your post.

this is for starwhite.....advising david to "get a job".

david already has a job and he's doing it beautifully. "jobs" don't necessarily support us financially(3d) and sometimes that's the lesson for the individual or for those around him or her. we all bring different gifts & talents into this world and some are better adapted to bring in the physical dollars while other's talents & gifts are of a completely different vein. the idea is to support each other.

i find it odd that anyone who values all the things david has been sharing would have a problem sharing or helping him in return.

how can you think that david, who shares these incredible truths does not understand self esteem or self respect?

these may sound like harsh words to you but perhaps you need to be less judgmental and step out of the small box you seem to be thinking from.

peace

wow.. yes i totally agree, david has a job and i have a feeling we have no clue just how much of a job it is! take a full look at all this site offers and all that he gives out for free and the sheer knowledge involved. my gosh, i can't remember my kids first name sometimes, much less retain all the scientific stuff he does, along with a wealth of other knowledge.

let us appreciate and be thankful for his work. let us honor it anytime someome gives us their labor of love to use and enjoy ... i personally don't think i may be able to download science of peace as planned, due to connectivity /speed issues, but i will certainly be sending david a little something as just a small way of thanking him for working when he could be sitting back and doing things just for his own entertaintment. his contribution is priceless.

i saw an address somewhere while digging thru the site to send donations to in person, i hope it still is valid. i'd love to send a thank you. right now it will be small due to personal finances but that won't stop me, as i know when things improve i can always send something more.:-)
