The reason I know that-I'm almost doing that exact thing right now. Fostering a EB, his owners are military. One is overseas, the other is about to go through a ton of training, and it wouldn't be in the dog's best interest to bounce around every few months...not to mention there will be a two week period where she's "in the field". Responsible owners who care about their dogs-they're out there...even if they're few and far between.
