My kitty is a lapcat during the winter months. She is pretty much always in my lap, but when the summer comes she spends all day outside. So I think she just likes my lap because its warm.

Default Lap cats
One of my cats insists on sitting on me every time I sit down. She stalks me just waiting for my lap, but my others aren't bothered at all. I always find it fascinating how vastly different cat personalities can be. Are yours lap cats?

We have one lap cat. My sister spoiled her when she was a kitten, always carrying her around and cuddling her. We joked that she didn't have legs so couldn't walk on her own, hehe.

So now, even though she's a couple years old, she still loves to snuggle. If there's not a lap to sit on, she may actually follow you around and cry until she gets held (it's like a baby!) or will snuggle with the dog instead.

My cat is a complete lap cat. She cant get on me much during the day as my knee is usually occupied with baby and/or toddler but as soon as they're in bed shes on me.

The rest of the time she spends on her radiator bed.

My cat is also a lap cat but that was during the night time. He prefer to sleep on top of TV or beside me in the day time maybe because it was usually hot in the day time here. And so when he was cold he would prefer to sleep on my lap even he was already a bit heavy and causes me cramps. Lol
