Default Sphinx Cats - What do you think?
Do you like this breed?

Kittens!

Makes them look a bit like rats really in my opinion... cute... but weird at the same time.

And this is the ultimate super-villain cat surely...

Aw, I like them, they remind me in a way of shar-pei dogs cause of all the wrinkles. I wonder if they'd get cold though, can you even buy little clothes for cats?

They look kind of old. All wrinkly. That one at the top almost looks like a cartoon character. I wouldn't choose one, but if I somehow ended up with one I would love it all the same.

I found a boutique store on google that only makes clothes for sphynx cats!

If I tried to put clothes on any of my cats I'd be in for a fight.

I love them! But I've heard they can have skin problems and need baths once a week.

Not really my cup of tea, don't really see the fascination for hairless anything, they really must feel the cold, not an outdoor sort of cat then.

Also...was discussing this thread with my sister and then the question came up "Do they wash like other cats if they have no fur?". We came to the conclusion that they must clean their bums but not their body?? I cant recall seeing one wash. Just wondered what other people know/think?

Aren't these decendents of the original cats that came from Egypt? I love them, but maybe this climate is too cold for them. I believe they were used as the original model for Bast figurines in Ancient Egypt.

They look creepy!! And kinda gross, to be honest.

If I happened across one needing a home, I certainly wouldn't turn them away, just because they looked funky, but I also wouldn't go out of my way to find one either. They're like naked mole rats with big pointy ears, ha!

I'm not fussed with them to be honest, much prefer animals that are meant to have fur, to have fur.

That last one does look a little evil! I don't like or dislike them, I wouldn't go out and pay a lot of money for one, but if there was a rescue that needed a good home I wouldn't be it off by the look. Guessing they are indoor cats though.

I love this breed, they are so very interesting. I think that they would be rather hard to take care of as they have more needs than a regular cat. They are very cute though and I would love to have one of these, however since everyone else in my house thinks that they look like ugly rats, I don't think I'll be getting one any time soon, LOL.

Hmm not really a favorite of mine, even though I love Egypt A bit too different from the typical cats I'm used to.
