It didnt help star lunged at his kid. But after that after i got on him hard, he realized the kids weren't going to gurt him. Maybe people don't like excuses but star never was around kids before and thats what star did if he waa scared. And he was only showing tbis cause of an abused and undersocialized puppy hood. It took me a year and a half but he overcame a lot of his fa. Anyway he did my dog behave and was real gentle after that and my brother just says it was the lab in him. But this kid thing, a lot of dogs get like that if not around them but Star qyuckly learned they were ok and not a threat.

Default why do i even bother?
I just go around certain fb pages that mostly have am bullies and am staffs, mostly bullies. I link them here and our stickies but they still choose to deny da, that it can be socialized and trained out and of course they still continue to take them to dog parks. I guess am bullies aren't as driven as apbt's but still. I guess certain fur mommies think it hurts the breed by accepting da in the breed and that they have to be taught this. Im not sure why it's so hard to understand da is a genetic trait in the breed

It's very hard to get people to see stuff like that. I know what you're sayin. My friend's parent's just adopted a dog that was labeled "boxer/mab mix" and it's clearly neither and very much "pit bull" mutt. They've taken there previous dog's to dog parks, let them off leash in town all of the above "no no's".
I tried educating them a bit but in a manor where it didn't sound like I was telling them what to do with their dog. I brought up DA and got the "Oh she's sucha lover, she'd never fight. Right sweetie? *smoochie* smoochie* smoochie"
or I get ignored/funny looks.
Meh, you can only do so much.

I've given up on most people lately.

There is no way to know for sure. But I have to agree; I've gotten to where I don't even bother even more. My way if viewing it is that All dogs, All breeds all sizes are capable of attacking, biting, mauling and killing other dogs/people. Though I am waiting for them to build our local dog park; I will only take Snow when I know it is low volume. They also don't allow toys or treats inside the park and dogs have to have a special tag to get in.

My brother is do annoying himself. Supposedly you all are going to lie to promote pit bulls. I tell him you sll are brutally honest lol. And he tried to use star as an ecample. I said he wasnt a pure bred piy plus his issues were from being beat as a puppy. I about had him turned around. He learned he wasn't going to be hurt anymore

What? LOL! He has never owned one I assume. They speak for their self. They are a wonderful breed that doesn't need anyone lying for them.
