Default How Does Your Dog Act When He/She Is In Trouble?
Amy is such a drama queen. She got overexcited while on a walk and I was trying to give someone directions. She jumped up on me with no warning (her back paws hit my chest - she's THAT good a jumper) then started wrestling the leash. She KNOWS she's not allowed to do that, but she got overexcited while I was distracted. We're working on it.

I got the leash out of her mouth quickly and she knew I wasn't messing around. I had her in a down position in about three minutes and told her "BAD DOG" loudly. She spent the rest of the walk as far behind me as the leash would allow, ears back, tail down, giving me mournful little glances. I refused to smile at her or say anything kind, so she just kept doing it. When we got home she immediately ran up to her bed (not mine like she normally does) and has been laying there refusing to make eye contact with me.

I'll let her stew for a while. She needs to learn this is 100% unacceptable. And my chain leash just showed up today so we'll be switching to that.
