Ok so kaos is 4 months and 35lbs so I was wondering how big do u think he will be mom was 75 dad was 70 but hes 35 already any ideas........

No idea. His weight will depend on much more than his parents. It'll depend on previous dogs in his pedigree as well as his overall health.

How big were the grand sire and grand dam? Puppies have more genetic make up than just their sire/dam...

Ohh.... I don't know all I know is mom n dad I was just looking online n read breed standard was 22_60 lbs and with him already being 35 I didn't know but thanks for the speedy response n tips u get him to not nip?

Well obviously his parents weren't to standard, if they were even APBT at all.

There are lots of threads in the training section and puppy section in regards to nipping.

There are plenty of APBT that are intentionally bred out of standard. Pure bred doesn't necessarily mean Well bred.

I wouldn't worry so much about his size and more about everything else =)

However, if he is already 35 pounds at 4 months, I would think he will be close to his parents weight, but there is no way to tell for sure.

my vet told me that they generally will be double what they are at 16 weeks. so probably right around 70 lbs!

I wast really worried about it as long as he's happy and healthy I was just trying to get an idea so thank yous also had anyone heard of the dog food bran nutro its hollistic and he loves it I just wondered if anyone else had any experience with it

No idea about your dog. But I can say that Frankie was 32lbs at 4 months, at 9 months she was just over 60lbs. I'll weigh her again in a couple weeks at 10 months.
We're GUESSING she'll gain maybe another 10lbs and go up another 1" or so.

BUT she's a rescue and we have no idea how big her parents were, or what she is, other than (a small) part PitBull.

alll really depends on the parents and grandparents as said, my boy Logan is 11 months old and he is about 40 lbs, he was about 35 at 4 months and his parents were 60 and 80, I think he is a throwback and is ganna stay small even though he has the structure of his dad but I think now its ganna be lucky if he gets to 55 lbs

Teal I do not have proof however the woman I purchased him groom has papers on all 3 of her dogs which she showed new when I purchased him and said if I wanted she could help me obtain paper for kaos but I really didn't feel a need (maybe I should have.....i dunno) just didn't see a reason I don't plan on breeding him or anything

Do you know what registry the papers were with? I always found it neat to have registration, because then you can look up the dogs in your dog's pedigree and see what they looked like

I'm sorry if I came off rude.. I wasn't trying to insult your dog. Moreso just that it doesn't sound like he came from a reputable breeder, so you don't always know what you're getting. He very well could be a purebred APBT, but just as he could be, he also could not be

Just curious, and wondering if my Cassie is just a teeny pitty. lol She's def. an APBT, she just turned 1 year old last week, and weighs a whopping 40 lbs. She's been nearly the same size for months now. lol Any other "grown up" pitty's around that same size here? Or is she just a petite one? lol She makes the OP's sound enormous in comparison!

My Leo is a shelter mutt labeled "Terrier Mix" but at 16 wks he was only 17 lbs. 6 oz. Doubling would bring him to 34-35 lbs. Mom was a 40 lb. "pit mix" and we have no clue about Dad.

Both of my adults are 40 pounds It's a perfectly normal size for true APBTs
