I dont either.. but it sounds like it has alot of good stuff in it.. but until i can find the words can help with allergies im not risking it because i dont feel like cleaning up diarrhea from a 60 pound dog all day if it isn't gonna work . |

IMO (not trying to start a debate here...) dogs have no need for milk. Humans are the only species that drink milk after weaning because it is not nutritionally necessary for the rest.
Adding into the fact that the site you quoted is selling their product..so IMO it is similar to dog food companies "Oh buy this because dogs need fruits and veggies"...which is not the case. ALSO (lots of alsos here lol) it has additives to it which makes it even less natural. If it works for your dogs...that's great, but I would find a more species appropriate diet more efficient than goat's milk. (I also do believe that people can digest raw milk much better than pasteurized, however a dog's digestive system and a human's are completely different.) |

i give my dogs ( past and present) goat milk, i have always had good results using it. do not over do it though as it tends to pack on the pounds. when they are young i give it after a meal every other day, as they get older i give to them once or twice a week.
for people, it does help with allergies, the theory behind it ( right or wrong)? is that goats eat a wide variety of weeds and grass which gets processed in their milk and in turn helps a human build resistance to certain allergies. that could be as mentioned above an old wives tale, but i have never noticed any negative affects from using it. regards. |

I you buy a goat to milk, you have to get her pregnant and have a kid to have milk. But then you have two goats. And if it's a Billy goat kid get ready to make it into dog meat fast cause they are pain's in the butts.
But this might work out well if you feed raw! You just have to make your self kill a baby goat, which are pretty cute when small ![]() |

Well... You have to find someone who wants to buy a goat. When I bought my goat they tried to give me two more for free!
![]() But sooner or later the females stop producing milk, they just don't keep it flowing forever, that's just how it go's. Then you have to breed em again. Now they do have stud goats... and that's another story ![]() |
