The "pooch" looks quite Staffy (SBT)

Yeah the popular answer on here would be unless you've seen papers to confirm its purebreed and its a pedigree you can never be certain. But im from southampton, UK and grew up with staffs so I am pretty certain it is.

I'm also going with SBT. However, scale is so hard to judge in pictures. Do you remember how much the dog weighed and how tall it was?

Given the location where the dog was photographed, it's probably a stafford.

There's no being sure without a pedigree but definitely looks very much like an SBT.
