here is a taste of what you need to do before breeding even if you don't compete in anything...if you want to do right by the breed and your dogs (when you get them)

I can't find the one about females but there are a LOT of things that can happen to a female and her pups that involve death of all or death of pups or death of mom...its really sad and something anyone thinking of breeding should know and be prepared for
