Sorry, unless y'all wrote out an agreement (and why neither of you demanded to see where she'd be staying is beyond me), or she's microchipped and you have records, the law really isn't going to care. LEGALLY, you're SOL. If you can find where he lives and dog nap your dog back, go for it.

And yeah, I'd live in a fucking box before I had some strangers, or some jackasses my bf used to be friends with watch my dogs. Yes, I would live in a cardboard box with 4 dogs a cat and 2 ferrets. And I would DEMAND that I could see where they live, and could see my animal/s at least every other day.
