I understand that. I,too have been in your situation and had to re home the dog that meant the world to me. However,I know damn well who my dog is with and where she is. I also have a nifty (legally binding) piece of paper stating that she will be returned to me if her new owner finds himself unable to care for her any longer. It wasn't complicated and only cost me a $5 notary fee. I'm sure you didn't just hand your dog over to someone's friends, baby sisters, cousin's boyfriends ex girlfriend from around the way either, did you?

No. We evaluated and questioned about 10 different families before we found one we wanted him to go to. Just try not to be so harsh. I'm sure it's a learning lesson for her, and people make mistakes. I'd be heart broken if I lost my dog in this way, i wouldn't want people in a forum pointing fingers at me.
