I'm sure they do.All I do is pat them on the head maximum once or twice a day and sometimes feed them.
So it is chains that cause aggression according to you as they don't know what to do if they get free. You can think what you like but saying that a lot of people here are cruel to their dogs is just plain stupid and wrong.

Or sitting in a crate for hours upon end. Dogs can be neglected/abused in the house. It boils down to the owner.
