I've been reading everything I can find on the Dogo Argentino since I hope on owning one in the future. I came across this story about a brave Dogo who took 7 rounds of a .45 caliber handgun and still manage to kill one of his masters attackers. Great read IMO.

I love dogos, but I think this guy's story is a sham. There are some gaping holes in his story.
Why the hell would he chase after some thieves in a car just after they fired shots at him? That is the major fault I saw in his story. Then he metions the first shot was meant for him, but I think it was meant for his dog. He admits the dog disobeyed his recall and ran after the thieves and then the shots started to ring. Now if I were one of the thieves and a dogo comes after me, I will shoot the dog. I reiterate, I love dogos and admire the breed, but I think this guy is just making up this story. |
