Default Does your dog have a favorite toy?
wednesday 3/16 was Peanut's birthday we got him several different toys but it seems he picked his very favorite toy. We got him a hide-a-bee toy. He has picked ONE of the bees and he carries it around. if we put it back into the hive with the other bees he will dig around until he finds this one bee. the squeaker is now broken and it looks ragged but he is pretty gentle with it as he is not trying to rip it open which he very well could if he wanted to. I never would have thought he would love this little stuffed bee so much but he hasn't been without it very much since his birthday.
does anyone else's dog have a favorite toy that you would have least thought they would enjoy?

Mine really like the dead birds Lucy scatters around the yard. Apparently dead birds are excellent tug toys, and fun to roll in.

Aside from that, they're not too toy oriented unless they feel the rare need to gnaw on a bone, or shred a rope.

Jt loves his rope ball or his teaser ball.
Caesar likes sticks.
Queen likes her bones and her stuffies. Needs to say she kill stuffies in a few seconds.
Jezebel loves her stuffies. She has the softest mouth and does not destory them. In fact we have had the same stuffie for her for a few months now. Of course she is the only dog that gets it.

And he got a red blob thing from the dollar store that he loves, he doesnt chew on his stuffed animals he sucks on them..

He chews his rope and his cows skin bone (only for a few minutes supervised)

Arez loves her car tires.

Tank... OMG... this stupid thing which is now banned from the house due to his obsession.

Scarling loves her flirt pole.

Deeohgee.... DEFINITELY her boomer ball.

CoCo loves ALL balls and wants ALL balls!

Oddly enough.... the half of jolly ball that is left is a major house favorite. Scarling spent a half an hour in the yard rolling on it for some odd reason. I should have been filming..

This old rope off the flirt pole is a big hit for some reason as well... maybe because they had to earn it. lol

All my dogs are REALLY toy driven, which I LOVE LOVE LOVE. Makes them SO fun to work!

My dog loves his Boomer Ball. He'll play with that thing all fucking day long if I let him. He already broke one of my basement windows with it.

Her hotdog, which I also call her pacifier, because she has to have it in her mouth at all times, usually honking around the house.

And her giant tug rope....

And her rope ball.

Peyton loveeesssss tennis balls, with a giant unhealthy passion. He is completely obsessed. His favorite game is to hold one ball in his mouth, and kick around another with his feet almost like a little soccer player. He'll do this for hours, keeps himself entertained which is lovely! haha.

I accidently dropped a clementine (little orange) the other day out of the fridge and it rolled down the hallway and Peyton thought it was a ball...he chased it, pounced on it and bit right into it, then was surprised when it squirted EVERYWHERE and tasted sour. The look on his face was so priceless, I was crying I was laughing so hard.

Opie's favorite toy is a tiny little stuffed cat keychain that he found outside one day. Why he favors that one over his rope toy, I'll never know. But it makes him happy. He's fond of watter bottles as well.

Roxie is obsessed with jeans... if anyone has some old, unwearable jeans lying around, they give them to me and I cut them up and tie them and make all sorts of different little tug toys out of them. She'll run around like a nutter flipping the pants up in the air and then catching them again.

And then there's her Wubba and her flirt pole (which has a bit of jeans at the end of it) and her ball made from a knotted up rope.

go get ya a wheel barrow tire Zoe, it wont have steel belts in it. Yep they work great, as a matter fact we got a free wheel barrow off CL, the handles were busted...I took the tire off and hung and took the barrow off had Drew drill two holes on on each side so I could clip the harness to it and makes a great drag sled.

My dogs really do not have toys, I learned a few years ago I was wasting tons of money. We have one ball that has not been destroyed, a purple wamba (spelling) Nikki is obsessed with but we just use it to get her to run the mill. Hides and strong rope is the only thing that survives here very long...

Now I do have a whole toy box of puppy toys so when we have puppies it is something to keep them busy.

to have a favorite toy would imply that a toy has to last more than 8.2 minutes in our house...

Jolly ball. It lives outside, because it would wreak havoc in the house.

moose's favorite is this itty bitty sheep squeaky toy that he has had forever, problem is now when he puts it in his mouth it disappears.

The other thing that he loves is his bowl

Ruger has done that before, too!

Let's see, around here it's...

Ruger - ball obsessed! It's rare to find that dog without a tennis ball in his mouth. He carries one everywhere, lays with it, eats it, carries the pieces, I steal said pieces, he finds a new ball... rinse and repeat!

Bukra - it WAS the little dollar store stuffy that we got at the hunt, until he tore out the stuffing and then Jolene stole it now he'll settle for any stuffed thing he can toss about

Jolene - she is discovering that tug is awesome! So she's grabbing rope toys whenever she can and smacking other dogs in the face with them, hoping they'll get mad enough to indulge her newly found hobby lol

Bindah - garbage! Not like rotting food garbage, but their containers! She loves beer cans, plastic coffee jugs, etc. Lyric is her accomplish in pilfering said garbage

Lyric - Her pink teddy bear! It's her best friend, and she steals everything she can to bring to it and try to impress it. Since she's still stealing stuff, I am guessing it hasn't worked yet!

Spanky (boston terrier) - her kong! It's one of the tiny ones, but OH MY GOD... I need to video it. That dog and that kong are fucking hilarious!

Jessie (long coat chihuahua) - plastic bags! Unloading groceries is a pain with her tugging on all the bags, barking at you to wad one up and throw it at her, etc. there are dozens of plastic bags with knots in the middle scattered throughout my folks' house because my mum gives her a new one each time

Ya! We actually have some here! We have so many damn car tires in the yard, we definitely fit into the white trash neighbourhood! I'm surprised Arez teeth are in as good a shape as they are. She doesn't really ''chew'' that tire though. Just hangs off of it and whines her weird whine.
