Default Poll: who has been asked to stud out their male?
I have been asked at least once to "stud" out star though he is neutered

Never.

I wonder if you go out of the way to find these people.

Funny enough, my fiance's son and his friend was over today, and his friend asked if any of our males were up for stud. I said, "nope, none of our dogs are."

I was walking my boy Chapo and some guy driving by in a car asked me if i wanted to breed him. He said he had a "female blue pit in heat right now". No thank you.

Also, one of my brother's friend wanted me to trade him my German Shepherd Dog for a female "Gotti" line American Bully with papers. He probably thought I was stupid or something. Denied.

I brought this because of a post another poster posted saying that most on here probably have been asked to breed their dogs by strangers or whoever

I've been asked that while walking Slash a few times.

Also, one time I got asked a breeding question while walking my dog Axl, who is neutered and has a docked tail. Except the guy thought he was a female American Bulldog... Good thing for Axl's ego that he didn't understand.

I was walking Casper one day and this guy pulled over and asked me if I wanted to breed my Weimaraner with his pit bull! Casper is a Dogo Argentino!

Guy was dead serious too!

When my Dobes were alive I was walking both of them at an outdoor farmer's market and was ask repeatedly when I was going to breed them since they were such a beautiful pair. They were both neutered males!

I wish I did VonKromeHaus.

That dog was giving to me by my father as a pup. A farmer buddy of his gave it to him for free. Supposedly the only one left from the litter due to the fact some hay stacks fell ontop of the others and killed them. Sad and irresponsible, I know.

Well anyways, I doubt my boys parents are papered but their real good working/ranch/cattle dogs.

Hes gots lots of drive and is super protective. The most ferocious guard dog i've owned.

Well not my male... (Damas is a bit on the small side compared to what most people around here want in a Rottweiler)

But I have had a few people ask me if I would stud Lucy, thinking she was a male dog. To solve the problem I got her some girly collars, so at least no one thought she was a guy dog.

Some folks have also thought Ethel was male too, but Saint Bernards seem to be pretty asexual in terms of looks.

If I had a dollar for every time I've been asked to stud out Nicodemus and Bronson, I could go to a few shows. LOL

I recently had someone ask if I had any breedings lined up for Murphy yet. I said "He's only 7 1/2 months old, and only has a few points in conformation right now. Once he is championed out, and proves to be a good specimine, I MAY consider breeding him to a very select few bitches."

All the time with lucky and eagle! And the queestions started with eagle since she was 6 months old. I'm like no! She's just a puppy. Then once I told a guy no I'm not breeding her to your dog she's getting spayed. He tells me, well its not your choice!.... what???

That's because your boys are sooo damn handsome! lol I could use a fix of Nic pics... been AWHILE!

Ahem.. anyways..

I haven't been asked to stud out Ruger (who is also neutered) since he was under a year old (he's almost four now).

But what I get asked ALL the time now, is if Jolene and Ruger are related.

All the time. They wanna know if I can stick my "shorty bull" on their females to produce smaller, muscular pits.
