Default Question
I am taking care of my sons Pit Bull and he woke up this morning with bumps all over his body...anyone have any ideas as to what they are? He otherwise appears fine.

If he just woke up with bumps that weren't there before I would be thinking allergy. Give him a benadryl and try to figure out what could be causing the reaction. How long has he been at your house? Did you change his food?

yea, sounds like allergy, if you did not change his food, what food is he on? Do you use different detergents/cleaning products than your son the the dog could have walked on (clean floor/clean bedding)? How long has your son had the dog, allergies can flare up months after an exposure, but more than likely it was something that he was exposed to within the last day or two.

It could have been something as small a treat.

If Marsha eats anything, even just a tiny little kibble, with red dye in it, she will break out in hives within minutes. And they are the great big very noticeable hives, too.
