I'm sorry but without knowing further details, I disagree. For a dog to bite a stranger is not such a big deal. Many dogs are kept for this exact reason. The dog needs to be restrained in a manner that it can't attack innocent parties, but there is no way that a couple of bites from a guarding breed should be considered out of character. Thats what they were bred for. Its paramount to putting your pitbull down for chasing a cat or fighting with another dog. Find a home for the dog where it can be restrained from attacking people at random and the problem is sorted. It clearly wasn't a mauling which a decent dog of that nature could inflict so I suspect the incidents were nothing major, hence not reporting it.
