Just a note, red nose is just the color of their nose, not a "breed line". She definitely looks like an American Pit Bull Terrier mix, and quite honestly, in the picture, she looks like her nose is black, not red. But it could be the lighting of the picture. You Razor's Edge is going to be quite a bit "thicker" than an APBT mix, because it's an AmBully, not an American Pit Bull Terrier. APBT's are a medium size dog, average about 45-60 lbs, and are very lean, Razor's Edge are thicker, and shorter. Be sure to ask Purple for access to the AmBully section.

Oh, and welcome to Pitbull-chat. Nice to see another Tennessean.

No red nose, black nose, blue nose, american pits. There are American Pit Bull Terriers, American Stafforshire Terriers, and American Bullies. Your RE dog is most likely and American Bully, which can run quite a bit bigger than your average APBT.
All that aside, there is virtually no way to pin down what breeds are in your other dog, or if there's any "pit bull" at all.

Nope, without getting a dog from a reputable breeder, there is no way for sure to say what bloodline she is or if she is even fullbred.

I agree, german shepard mixed with apbt. I dont know where you got the idea of a red nose, as what color the nose is, is just that. It honestly doesnt matter. What matters is that you do all you can for her.

I would be surprised if it is any boodlines. I looks like a bit of a backyard special to me. Probably scatterbred with so many mongrels. All that matters is you get out and enjoy your time with your dog and don't get hung up on lines and so forth.

Did you see the papers for the Mother? Is she full blood American Pit Bull Terrier with a red nose? Was her nose red, or did the breeder just tell you she was a red nose?

Everyone JUST got done sayin' how 'rednose' isn't a "line" or "type" of APBT and is JUST a nose colour... and you come out with "full blooded red nose"... sheesh.

Unless the dam HAS a red nose... she isn't a "red nose" dog. Easy enough.

Cute pup

That dog looks like a pit/shepard mix to me. Not a purebred by any stretch. I'm sorry but whoever told you she was a "mix" of red nose and american pit doesn't know squat. There aren't different "breeds" of American Pit Bull Terrier, nose color is simply that and is meaningless, you can't have a "full or half" blood red nose, either the nose is red or not and a red nose dog is no different than a blue nose. This breed comes in many colors. A chocolate lab is not a different breed than a yellow lab. "american pit" doesn't mean anything either. Razors edge are generally byb ambully dogs, they aren't APBT at all and usually are larger.
