"Reggie and Iggy were two of my very first ACCT foster dogs while I was still in college, back in 2008. They were adopted by the same couple who unfortunately, recently split up and cannot care for them due to living and work arrangements. I would really like to find placement for them together because they are very bonded and have lived together for the past 3 years. Reggie (A07009151) is a 3 year old American Pit Bull Terrier mix who originally came to the shelter as a 3 month old stray puppy with a broken leg. We fostered him until his leg was healed and his cast was off. He's now all grown up and is a handsome honey-colored brindle. Besides eating a little quickly, he has no behavioral issues. Iggy (A07658560) is a 4 year old Pharaoh Hound mix who we originally fostered for a friend of a friend of a friend when she lost her job and her home and could no longer care for her. She's very intelligent and very athletic, with cute pointy ears. She can scale the 4 foot chain link fence in her current yard, but other than that does not have any behavioral issues. Both Reggie and Iggy have lived with very small children, are housebroken and know their basic commands. They get along with other dogs, but have not lived with cats. Both are altered, micro-chipped and up-to-date on vaccinations through May, 2012. All paperwork can be provided. PLEASE let me know if you can help by fostering or adopting.
