200,028,539,268,669,788,905,472 combination's is IMPOSSIBLE to crack given you have 5 chances to crack it before your IP is banned.

That was my point.

If only using one IP address, your point is quite valid. From the view of the board, that is a great security feature.

However, there are outside issues that cannot be solved by this feature, which would bypass this feature altogether. I am not talking about brute force attacking the server that the forum software is installed on. The type of attack I am referring to is something that is difficult for a board to protect against, since it is simply not part of the administrative options, nor even a part of the board software itself.

It deals with email, and that is all I am saying.

MINE ARE always rated easy.
but they have no clue waht they are talking about, just cause i dont have twenty types of numbers and different letters it makes it " unsafe". ..lame lol
