Default Kerry calls for US funding to Egypt's Muslim Brotherhood
Senate Foreign Relations Committee Chairman John Kerry (D-Ma) is in Egypt where he has been sucking up to the Muslim Brotherhood. With the US already $15 trillion in debt, Kerry wants the International Monetary Fund - for which the US provides the largest piece of the budget - to finance the Muslim Brotherhood's takeover of Egypt. In addition to praising the Brotherhood’s election as a model of transparency and integrity, Sen. Kerry also called for an infusion of cash from the International Monetary Fund to undergird Egypt’s new Islamist government.

Honestly, the like of Kerry does not surprise me, nor others of a leftist bent whose sole objective is to pour more gasoline onto an already soon to be, if it isn’t not already, out-of-control fire. Financing the Muslim Brotherhood's takeover of Egypt; one doesn't need a crystal-ball to foresee that any hope or opportunity for democracy in Egypt will be quashed.

Kerry along with his comrades, collectively with Obama, is either utterly naïve or their wants are the identical to those of the Muslim Brotherhood. These radical Islamists in sheep’s clothing hold no desire for democratisation; Islam and democracy are diametrically opposite… and never the twain shall meet.

I believe Obama, while Mubarak was clinging to power, did not foresee the Muslim Brotherhood as a negative or threat to the Middle East; utter inanity. The leftists have a death-wish… they may not be sentient to this fact because of their self-righteousness and elitist sense of self. If this death-wish, in the final analysis, only affected them, I would say go for it. Unfortunately, it places the State of Israel in greater jeopardy, if that is possible; moreover, any prospect of stabilizing the Middle East will be kaput. Not that, I believe, there is any likelihood any Arab States will find stability. Most definitely democracy is not in the cards… Obama, Kerry can whistle Arab platitudes all they want. It will never come to pass… billions or trillions will solely be utilized for the cause of bloodletting; especially the blood of Israelis. This may well be Kerry’s intentions… Obama would not blink an eye. Cynical? Only time will tell.

Pouring gas on a fire or dealing with the fact that Egypt's next parliament is going to be 60% fundamentalist Muslims in an extremely strategic country? I don't believe for a minute that Senator Kerry wants to see Egypt become another Iran.

Perhaps not but these dreamers and schemers have pried open a Pandora's Box. I don't wager often but I will on the eventual outcome in Egypt and a few others.

It boggles that these collectivist, sandwich-heads still exist... not surprising but reading a few articles on the site gave me a chuckle. It reminded me of my silk-tie, commie-cousin: they, the fools, are elitist, indeed... until taking a bullet in the back of the head by someone believing he/she is more elitist.

The argument being made is that the Muslim Brotherhood is moderate. "Don't you know they speak good English and have university degrees."

Arab auto-cracies are better off with Monarchs than with democracy. We saw what happened after the Shah was overthrown in Iran.

It's really way past time to find an alternative to fossil fuel oils. After which, we can leave the primitives to carry on with their steadfast march back into the dark ages, and forget about them completely. The real price of petroleum is far higher than what I'm willing to pay, although the majority would rather sell their souls than walk.

Excellent point, the chardonnay socialists are as elitist as the nazi socialists or proletariat socialists. Remember Hughes dining at the Hepburns' in the movie "The Aviator"?
"We don't care about money"
"That's because you have it"
Obama is an elitist to the bone marrow.
Anyway, socialists of any kind will always be in favor of the moslem movements as their sister socialist movements. After the collapse of the nazis and the commies, Islam today is all they have left promising out of all socialist varieties.

Except Iran wasn't an Arab autocracy. This proves the point of internationalist role of Islam in throwing the nation back into the caves once it has the reins.
